Hood County again sends fire units to help Palo Pinto

On Sunday (Aug. 12), Hood County firefighters once again reached out to help Palo Pinto County, which now is dealing with a third wildfire, Fire Marshal Brian Fine said. Five brush trucks and a tanker are responding after Palo Pinto officials requested help at about 3 p.m. Firefighters from Lipan, Tolar, Granbury and Indian Harbor are participating, Fine said.
