Home Grown benefit features barbecue and local music

The Homegrown benefit Sunday, June 9 includes local bands, silent auction, barbecue lunch, a jump house and more at the Brazos Drive In, 1800 W. Pearl St. Proceeds are directed to Habitat for Humanity of Hood County. Gates open at 11 a.m. and admission will be $10 per person. Children under 10 are free. Donations will also be accepted at the gate. Those attending should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
