He’s still standing

At the time of this posting, Texas Senator Ted Cruz was still at the microphone on the floor of the Senate in Washington, where he had been for 17 hours, calling for the defunding of Obamacare. “I intend to speak in support of defunding Obamacare until I am no longer able to stand,” a story on the CNN News website quoted Cruz as saying. “All across this country, Americans are suffering because of Obamacare. Obamacare isn’t working.”  County Judge Darrell Cockerham said Wednesday morning (Sept. 25) that the tactic is “a futile gesture.” I think the Senate is definitely a Democratic body, and they’re going to uphold Obamacare,” he said.
