Granbury voters give thumbs up to electric co. sale

The majority of Granbury voters who voted in today’s election have authorized the City Council to sell the city’s electric utility company. According to Elections Administrator Jenise “Crickett” Miller, 161 citizens voted “yes” to the authorization, while 116 voted “no.” Miller said that results are not yet in from Lipan, where there were two contested school board races.
