Two Acton Middle School girls, ages 12 and 13, remain in the Granbury Regional Juvenile Justice Center as they await processing on their third-degree felony charge of online impersonation, according to Hood County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Johnny Rose. They have been in custody since late on the afternoon of July 16, but as juveniles under age 17 they are not eligible to be released on bond. A judge will meet with them, possibly next week, to decide whether they may be released to their parents, be put on probation or be put in the custody of the Texas Youth Commission, officials said. The names of juveniles charged with crimes are not released.
