Food forest for a fact

Eden Grove owner Emory Richey of Bluff Dale will talk about the practice of food foresting at the monthly meeting of The Lake Granbury Master Gardeners Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 1 p.m. in Annex I on West Pearl Street. Eden Grove, the vision of Emory and Stephanie Richey, is being transitioned from a mono-crop pasture of coastal Bermuda into a diverse poly-culture food forest. A food forest is a self-sustaining ecosystem designed to provide food and fiber in a sustainable way. The public is invited at no charge. Call 817-579-3280.
