First-graders learn Mexican heritage

Oak Woods first-graders heard from a gentleman on March 19 to learn about his experiences living and working in Mexico. Bill Poulos demonstrated handmade art and also discussed the various regions of the country that make the crafts. He also instructed the students on some Spanish greetings and simple phrases.
