First 100-degree day predicted this week

The first 100-degree day of the year for Hood County may be headed our way this week. The National Weather Service is predicting a high temperature of 100 degrees for Thursday. No blankets will be needed the rest of the week, either, with highs predicted at 98 or 99 each day. There is no rain in our forecast.
