A Dallas jury awarded $10.5 million on Tuesday in a wrongful death lawsuit to the family of former Granbury resident Kasey McKenzie, who died March 17, 2011, when she was crushed by a monster truck in the parkling lot of a Dallas men’s nightclub. That was confirmed by a Dallas attorney connected with the plaintiffs, Gary McKenzie and Karen McDonald, the parents of Kasey McKenzie. The nightclub and the driver of the truck were both defendants in the lawsuit.
