Excuse me while I chase this guy …

September 25, 2012

Apparently a misunderstanding that occured following a burglary in Parker County led to the victim getting in a vehicle to follow a person he thought was responsible for the crime all the way to the Waters Edge area in Granbury. Along the way, the burglary victim called 911 and let the dispatcher know that he did have weapons in his own vehicle, according to Alan Hines, deputy chief of the Granbury Police Department. Officers spoke with both men and learned that no criminal offense had been committed, Hines noted, and added, “The subject who was following (the other man) never made contact with him and no words were exchanged, no threats.”
