Drug drop-off box now in place at LEC

A drug drop-off box was in place as of late Thursday afternoon at the Hood County Law Enformemt Center, 400 Deputy Larry Miller Drive in Granbury, Sheriff Roger Deeds announced. It’s for getting rid of unwanted or expired prescription medications (pills), but not for liquids, syringes, needles or catheters. The white bin is in the parking lot of the LEC, bearing the name of the Hood County Substance Abuse Council, and is available for drop-offs any time day or night.
