Former Lipan High School teacher and head baseball coach Tyson James “T.J.” Nolen, 25, already charged with four felony counts earlier this week alleging sexual crimes committed against two 16-year-old female students, is now accused of sexual assault of a female student under age 14, District Attorney Rob Christian said Friday afternoon. Nolen’s latest charge, continuous sexual abuse of a child, is a first-degree felony count with a punishment range of 25 years to life in prison with no parole if convicted, Christian noted. Nolen remains in the Hood County Jail with bonds totaling $375,000. Christian said the investigation is ongoing.
