New ice chests for the Meals of Wheels program are needed– 50 to be exact. Marilyn Luton is reporting an urgent need for 30 52-quart coolers and 20 28-quart coolers. Some of the old coolers are held together with duct tape, said Luton, a board member with the Hood County Committee on Aging. The coolers are used to keep hot food hot, and cold food cold, while delivering to clients. To make a donation, or to volunteer, call Jada Wilson at the Hood County Senior Center at 817-573-5533.
