Cast votes to possibly help son of Hood County deputy

March 27, 2013

Anyone can vote (www.mobilityawarenessmonth.com) online, once per day, and join the effort to help out Quinton McLean, the 10-year-old son of Hood County Sheriff’s Office deputy Lance McLean. Quinton was born with Alobar Holoprosencephaly and hydrocepalus and has no motor skills to help himself. The top 5 percent of the vote-getters (from the U.S. and most of Canada), as of the final day of voting on May 10, will meet with a panel of judges that will award wheelchair-accessible vehicles to the most worthy applicants. The McLeans do not have such a van to transport Quinton to his medical appointments in Dallas and for other necessary trips.
