Boy killed in Tolar identified; cadlelight vigil set

Tolar Police have released the name of the pedestrian killed Friday night as Bryce Norris, 15, of Tolar. Norris was struck by a Pontiac four-door at about 7 p.m. in about the 9000 block of Highway 377 West in Tolar, near his home, according to Tolar Police Chief R.C. Cox and other sources. A candlelight vigil is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. tonight (Saturday, April 20) in a vacant lot between the Tolar Post Office and the Tolar fire station on Highway 377, near the spot where the accident occurred.
