Books were flying off the shelf

Friends of the Library’s April book sale last weekend brought in $1,000 more than the fall sale last October.  “Over 50 members helped. Our success is due to the outstanding volunteers in FOL. We appreciate the support of the businesses in our community,” said Marita Crowder, who chaired the book sale. Profits will fund the Children’s Summer Reading Program at the Hood County Library and other library needs.
