Architect to present schedule for animal control facility

An architectural firm is to present a preliminary schedule to the Commissioners Court Tuesday morning (March 12) regarding the building of a new animal control facility. Although commissioners have been working with the firm to move the plans forward, there has been no formal commitment in the form of a vote. The facility would cost about $1.4 million. Advocates believe a bigger, better facility in a more convenient location would result in more adoptions.
