Animal Control announces expanded hours open to public

The Hood County Animal Control facility, 240 Bray St. just west of Granbury off of Highway 377, has new expanded hours open to the public for those interested in adopting pets, according to Captain A.T. Vines of the Hood County Sheriff’s Office. Effective immediately, the facility is now open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday (including the lunch hour). Starting the first week in February, hours on Tuesday will be extended to 7 p.m. On Feb. 16, Animal Control will have an open house and free pet adoption event, with free snacks and refreshments.
