Granbury City Council member Tony Allen is not happy that Mayor Rickie Pratt plans to try again to change plans for the Opera House renovation – a project that already is significantly behind schedule. Allen said that the orchestra pitt Pratt keeps pushing for would cost $40,000 and would be unlikely to be used by the Granbury Theatre Company. City Manager Wayne McKethan said the changes proposed by the mayor would not necessarily run up costs, but would delay the project for up to three months. It will all be discussed at the regular meeting of the City Council on Tuesday night, Dec. 11.
