Most of the pets left homeless by the May 15 tornado and rounded up by Hood County Animal Control have been reunited with their owners. However, a few remain at the facility, at 240 Bray St., just west of the Granbury city limit, according to Sergeant Kelly McNab. As of late Friday afternoon, there were still several cats, a few dogs and two parakeets in custody. If your pet has been missing during the storm and you think it may have survived, call 817-573-4277 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday to see if you can identify and claim it among the remaining animals.
