Unspent bullets found at Acton Elementary

Acton Elementary School cafeteria workers found two unspent bullets Tuesday morning before school started. They immediately contacted Principal Anna Roe, who initiated a search of building and did not find anything. “Out of abundance of caution, the principal contacted law enforcement,” school district spokesman Jeff Meador said. “Officers responded and also searched the building while we kept children in the cafeteria and gym. There was never a threat to any child, and they were not in danger at any time. As of now, nothing has been found, and students are reporting to class.” Parents with questions may contact Roe at 817-408-4200.
