Tolar’s volleyball squad dropped a 25-21, 25-17, 25-15 decision at Dublin Tuesday.
Madison Prichard-Warren led Tolar (5-12) with seven kills and teammate Reagan Mabery added six. Hannah Lee paced the Lady Rattlers with 15 digs, while Carson King and Pritchard-Warren had nine each. Magen Collie recorded eight digs and led the team with 15 assists.
“I think we gave Dublin 51 points out of 75 on errors,” said Tolar coach Scotty Miller. “You are not going to win much of anything spotting a team nearly 17 points.
“Madison Prichard-Warren really battled well tonight. I thought Carson King did a nice job taking control at times.”
LADY PIONEERS FALL ON ROAD
The North Central Texas Lady Pioneers dropped a road match at Waxahachie Prep Tuesday, falling 25-10, 25-19, 25-10.
Sydney Lindsey led the Lady Pioneers (0-7) with three kills, three aces and a pair of blocks. Esther Udonsi had two blocks.
“She got her hands on many more,” said NCTA coach Kari Yeager.
“We improved greatly on our serve-receive passes.”
NCTA was in the Lake Country Tournament last weekend. They split their first pool match with Denton Selwyn, but dropped the next three to Southwest Christian, McKinney Christian and Lake Country Christian. In bracket they fell to Fulton.
