The Tolar volleyball squad leveled its season record at 1-1 Friday with a 25-10, 25-22, 25-23 home victory over Clifton.
Tristyn Klein led the Lady Rattlers with seven kills, while Meg Gilliam and Shelby Nunley had six each. Most were set up by Reagan Mabery as she notched 31 assists.
Tolar’s Madison Prichard-Warren had a team-high in both digs, with 15, and in aces, with six.
“It was a good day. Our serving improved hugely,” Tolar coach Scotty Miller said, noting the Lady Rattlers had only two serving errors in the match.
“We played with great tempo. We started working with a lot quicker sets. The girls executed pretty well.”
The Lady Rattlers had dropped their season opener, also at home, to De Leon.
Miller is in his first season at the helm of the Lady Rattlers.
The Lady Rattlers were hosting Fort Worth Country Day last night. They hit the road for the first time this season when they travel to Glen Rose this weekend for a tournament.
