Tolar girls seventh in Glen Rose tourney
The Tolar Lady Rattlers brought home the seventh-place trophy in the Glen Rose Tournament last weekend, defeating Rio Vista 52-28.
The Lady Rattlers got 19 points from Breanna Rogers, while Hannah Peregrino scored 10 points with six rebounds.
Tolar (6-7) had opened the tournament with a 58-35 loss to Brownwood, followed by a 55-37 loss to Cisco in which Peregrino scored 20 points with seven rebounds.
Against Rio Vista, a District 10-2A foe, the Lady Rattlers used a 19-5 run in the second quarter to take command open up a 31-11 halftime lead.
