Tolar drops road match

The Tolar Lady Rattlers’ struggles continued Tuesday with a 25-19, 25-20, 25-18 loss at Alvarado.

“We are going to find a way to punch through,” said first-year coach Scotty Miller. “These young ladies are playing with fire in their veins.”

Magen Collie delivered 14 assists. Madison Prichard-Warren had eight kills and seven digsand Reagan Mabery had five kills and eight digs.

LADY PIONEERS FALL AT HOME

The North Central Texas Lady Pioneers slipped to 0-2 wtih a 25-13, 25-15, 25-17 loss to visiting Waxahachie Prep recently.

“They are continuing to get comfortable in their positions and looking better every time we play,” said first-year coach Kari Yeager.

Yeager praised the play of Nichole Oechsle at libero, along with Esther Udonsi and Sydney Lyndsey at the net.

The Lady Pioneers won the JV match 25-14, 25-19.
