Granbury offensive standouts – Nikoli Press 4-4, triple, double, 4 stolen bases; Phillip Dixon 3-3, 2 doubles, 3 RBIs, 3 stolen bases; Caden Pickett 3-4, triple, double, 2 RBIs.

Granbury pitching – Axex Kempf, complete game 2-hitter.

Granbury catcher – Thomas Weaver.

Granbury defensive standouts – Dixon at shortstop, Weaver threw out the one steal attempted; Pickett, Cody Retz.

Granbury record – 8-4 overall, 4-0 in District 7-4A.

Granbury JV Gold 3

Granbury offensive standouts – Bryce Baird 1-2, walk; Sam Sonderer 1-3, RBI; Dakota Edmonds 1-3, RBI.

Granbury pitching – Cody Odom started, Shelton Martin, Dakota Edmunds came on in relief.

Granbury defensive standouts – Shortstop Rusty West, centerfielder Daniel Tramel.


Granbury JV Purple 2

Cleburne JV A 0

Granbury goals (assists) – Fernando Aguado (Caleb Carnes), Agaudo (penalty kick).

Granbury goalkeeper – Jesus Valadez.

Note – Granbury JV Purple finished with a 13-3-1 overall and won the District 15-4A championship with a 9-0-1 record, with the tie coming against Cleburne in the first meeting. All three of the losses came to three different varsity teams.
