DECADES GAME AT LIPAN

The Lipan High School Booster Club will present a “Decades of the Past” basketball game as part of their homecoming celebration on Saturday, Nov. 24, at the new Lipan High Gymnasium.

All former Lipan High basketball players and coaches are invited to participate in the game that will begin at 1 p.m.

There will also be a raffle for a Lipan Indians quilt, handcrafted by Thelma Stepp. It showcases years of Lipan basketball.

GIRLS SOCCER DINNER

The Granbury Lady Pirates soccer team will have a spaghetti dinner Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at the Granbury High cafeteria. Contact Jimmy Hiler at 817-279-2265.

ACE AT NUTCRACKER

Bill Reed made a hole-in-one at Nutcracker Golf Club recently. He used an 8-iron to ace the 115-yard, par-3 third hole. Witnesses were Don Mathis, Jim Thomas, Jerry Williams and Stan Stooksberry.

YOUTH RALLY TO FEATURE

FORMER PRO ATHLETES

Stonewater Church will have its annual Champions For Today Area Wide Youth Rally this evening (Wednesday) at 6 p.m. at the church in Texana Plaza. The event will feature former NFL players William Green of the Cleveland Browns and Keith Davis of the New York Giants.

The event is designed to help young people address life issues, build character and focus on values.

The event will also include the Flying Wallenda Family and Tino Wallenda.
