GISD PHYSICALS NEARING

Students who will participate in Granbury ISD athletic programs during the 2013-14 school year will have an opportunity to get their mandatory physical examinations during sessions sponsored by Lake Granbury Medical Center from 1-5 p.m. on July 31, 2013, at Granbury Middle School.

Athletic physicals are required by the University Interscholastic League (UIL) and GISD and must be completed before a student in grades 7-12 may participate in any practices or games.

Cost for the exam is $20 cash. Athletic physical packets must be completed by the parent or guardian prior to the examination. Forms are available at the GISD athletic office and on the GISD website at www.granburyisd.org/piratesportsmedicine.

Athletic trainers will collect all completed forms at the conclusion of the exams and will be kept on file. Parents may request copies if needed, allowing 48-72 hours for processing.

For more information about the physicals, contact athletic trainers Andy Rankin at (817) 408-4645 or Connie Rhodes at (817) 408-4655.
