LADY RATTLERS GARNER

VOLLEYBALL HONORS

Four members of the Tolar Lady Rattlers were named to the All-District 10-2A Volleyball Team by the league’s coaches, said Tolar coach Misty Cook.

Chosen for the first team was senior Shandy Wilcox, while senior Brilyn Akerley was a second-team selection. Juniors Madison Prichard-Warren and Reagan Mabery received honorable mention.

Akerley and senior Hayley Butler were also named academic all-state by the Texas Girls Coaches Association.

Nine members of the Lady Rattlers 4-8 in 10-2A) garnered academic all-district: Prichard-Warren, Mabery, Akerley, Butler, Wilcox, senior Landri Weinecke, junior Carson King, junior Cheyenne Clark, and freshman Madeline Dawson.

HOLE-IN-ONE FOR RILEY

Pat Riley made a hole-in-one on the 170-yard, par-3 fifth hole at deCordova Bend Country Club. Witnesses are Ray Hood, Jerry Needham, Wayne Hughes and Tom Dodson.
