The Granbury Shockwave advanced to the semifinals of both the Pinto sectional and regional tournaments in summer PONY (Protect Our Nation’s Youth) recreation softball all-star competition.

At sectionals, Granbury had little trouble defeating White Settlement 16-3 before losing a 9-8 thriller to Aledo. Then, after bouncing back with a 15-2 convincing win over Weatherford and a 14-6 victory against Crush, they were ousted by the North Texas Tigers 9-4.

At regionals, Granbury began wtih a 14-10 victory against White Settlement and remained in the winners bracket as they got some revenge with a 7-5 win over the Tigers.

They then fell 10-7 to Aledo and were eliminated by the Tigers 10-4.
