Rattlers win Tournament
The Tolar Rattlers continued their strong start to the baseball season by winning the championship of the Hamilton Tournament this past weekend.
The Rattlers (6-2) opened with a 4-3 victory against Gorman. The winning run scored on a bases-loaded to Alfredo Triana that scored Tyler Phillips.
They followed with an 8-5 win over Early and an 8-3 topping of Moody in which Cole Chism pitched a two-hitter.
“We are playing well and developing a feeling of confidence that we can hopefully take into the last week of tournament play,” said Tolar coach Trey Holcomb.
