Rattlers take title at Hico Invite
The Tolar track season got off to a strong start recently as the Rattlers ran to first place in the Hico Invitational.
The Rattlers scored 163 points to easily outdistance runner-up Cisco with 106.
The Lady Rattlers placed fourth with a score of 85. Hico and Whitney tied for first with 127 points each, while Cisco scored 101.
Cory Solomon (100), Kaleb Gilliam (400), the 400 relay (Garrett Winston, Solomon, Blayne Denton and Grant Winston), 800 relay (Garrett Winston, Grant Winston, B.J. Dollins and Solomon), Walker Shelton (long jump), and Garrett Winston (triple jump) won gold medals for the Rattlers.
Reagan Mabery won gold medals for the Lady Rattlers in the 100 hurdles and long jump.
