Rattlers get 1st 10-2A win

The Tolar Rattlers broke into the District 10-2A win column and subsequently handed Whitney its first league loss, 7-6.

The Rattlers (10-8, 1-3) scored three times in the bottom of the seventh. They had tied the game at 4 in the fifth, but fell behind again, 6-4.

“Beating Whitney gives us a good opportunity to start digging our way back into competing for a playoff spot,” said Tolar coach Trey Holcomb.

Dakota Endsley raised his team-leading batting average to .400 with a pair of hits.
