The Granbury Pirates took a break from District 7-4A tennis competition to host Burleson Centennial Thursday, coming away with a 17-2 victory.
The match could be a prelude to a possible early round playoff contest as Centennial competes in District 7-4A. The two could meet in the area round.
The Pirates improved to 6-3 overall. They returned to district play yesterday, hosting South Hills. Granbury is off to a 2-0 start against 7-4A foes.
