Pirates golf at Aledo

The Granbury Pirates varsity Purple team placed eighth at the Aledo Invitational recently, shooting a 671 (328-343) on the Split Rail course.

Zach Wall led the Pirates, shooting a 156 (73-83), tying for fifth overall medalist.

Brady Wright was next with a 169 (83-86), Luke Elliott shot 173 (89-84), Harrison Knight posted a 175 (86-89), and Baker White shot 176 (86-90).

Playing as a medalist, Davis McDuff shot 193 (94-99).

The varsity Gold shot a 379 recently at Squaw Valley in Glen Rose. Austin Toffoli shot 87, Karston Harrison 91, Sam Sonderer 93, Will Warner 108, and Blake Estes 109 (did not count in team total).

At the Kangaroo Classic at Sugartree Golf Club, varsity Gold players Blake Brown (91), Anson Wilson (94), and Johnny Eckley (103) played as medalists.
