Pirates go 2-2 in Bridgeport tourney
The Granbury Pirates won the first two games of the Bridgeport Tournament, but settled for fourth place after dropping two on Saturday.
Free throws were the difference in a 56-47 loss to Saginaw, the tournament finale. The Pirates were 9-forf-12 and the Rough Riders were 20-for-25.
The Pirates opened the tournament with a 63-56 victory against Mineral Wells, the team formerly coached by Granbury coach David Breazeale.
