NCTA pulls away in blowout

The North Central Texas Academy Pioneers turned a close game early into a rout, topping Wichita Falls Christ Academy 60-18 in a Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools District 2-A basketball contest. in Wichita Falls.

The Pioneers led 16-10 after the first quarter. They then went on a 42-4 run over the second and third quarters.

Stefan Rosic led NCTA (5-2, 2-0 in district) with 30 points.

“We started really slow defensively in the first quarter, then really picked it up in the second,” said NCTA coach Kirby Rasco.
