The North Central Texas boys were fourth and the girls sixth at the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools Class A State Cross Country Meet.
The Pioneers scored 102 points. Amarillo Ascension won with the low score of 23.
The Lady Pioneers scored 120, while Ascension also had the low score among the girls with 26.
Cale Dodson was the top finisher among the NCTA boys, finishing 15th with a time of 19 minutes, 45.4 seconds over the 3.1-mile course. Mark Nyakundi was 24th with a 20:20.9, Elias Fekadu took 26th with a 20:28.9, Raphael Provenza de Mranda Rohlfs was 27th in 20:31, and Zach Pate came in 35th in 21:11.1.
The Lady Pioneers were led by Esther Udonsi with a time of 15:08.6 over 2 miles. Carolina do Santos Bianchi was 26th with a 16:38, Emily Wilbourne clocked a 17:05 for 29th, Sydney Lindsey posted an 18:01.1 for 38th, Arjot Sandhu was 41st with a 19:46, and Cinthya Rivas was 42nd with a 19:50.5.
