As the team prepares for its upcoming District 16-A Meet, several Lipan Lady Indians posted personal-best times Monday at the Priddy Invitational cross country meet recently.

Shauna Coleman clocked a 15:03 for 96th.

The Lipan boys were led by Jace Walker, who was 62nd with a 22:40 over 3.1 miles. Kyle Mercer ran a 26:26 for 73rd, and Tanden Foust was 74th in 26:43.

“It is exciting to see the team running season-best times at this time of year,” said Lipan coach Ray Michou. “We look forward to competing well at district. Our goal is always to run for a district championship and to qualify for the next level, the regional meet.”

The district meet is Monday, also at Goldthwaite Country Club.
