LADY RATTLERS EDGE HIRSCHI

Breanna Rogers (16) and Hannah Peregrino (15) combined for 31 points to lead the Tolar Lady Rattlers (3-1) to a 56-52 victory against visiting Wichita Falls Hirschi Saturday.

“Hirschi was a really fast team. As soon as we scored they got the ball in quick and got a few layups off of it because we didn’t get back on defense quick enough,” said Tolar coach Benita Carlton. “I felt like for the most part we handled their pressure.”

The Lady Rattlers won despite shooting 31 percent (19-for-61) from the field. Rogers was 4-for-6 from 3-point range and Peregrino was 6-for-10 from 2-point range.
