Keene pulls away to topple Lipan

Visiting Keene pulled away from the Lipan Indians in the second half Tuesday for a 60-52 basketball win.

Lipan (2-3) was led by Trevor Hedeman with 18 points and seven rebounds.

Keene led 26-24 at the half.

The game featured 65 free throw attempts (43 by Lipan, 22 by Keene). The Indians hit just 20 of their attempts and Keene managed just 11 makes.

Keene also attempted 33 shots from 3-point range, making nine, compared to the Indians’ 0-for-6 night from downtown.
