GHS tennis fifth at Wichita Falls

The Granbury tennis team placed fifth in the Wichita Falls Invitational last weekend.

The highest finish was by the mixed doubles duo of Kate Bramlett and Peter Mueller, who placed third. Kasi Krieger and Joel Rodgers took seventh.

Megan Wright and Alyssa Tigner teamed for fourth in girls doubles, while Alex Jenny and Keelyn Taylor were eighth.

Elizabeth Morton had the highest singles finish, fifth in girls singles. Katey Singer placed eighth.

In boys singles, Noah Smith was ninth and Kolby West 10th.

The boys doubles squad of Chandler Chiappe and Thomas Tigner was 11th, followed by D.J. Santiago and Nick Sandelin in 12th.

“This was our highest finish ever in this meet,” said coach Jeff Bramlett. “We’re Getting a lot of good feedback from the other coaches about our kids.”
