GHS swimmers hold own at Legacy meet

The Granbury swim team visited Mansfield Legacy recently, and Pirate coach Nick Vollmer liked what he saw against the much bigger program.

“Legacy has a larger team with a nice pool and lots of year-round swimmers,” he said. “We don’t face them until regionals, so we’re still looking great for district.

“And we really didn’t fare too badly against Legacy, so we might be able to pull out the win at regionals.”

Hannah Morton led Granbury with four wins, two in individual events and two in relays.
