“We did not take care of the ball.”
While the Lady Pirates limited Azle’s scoring, they turned the ball over 26 times.
The game was tied at 17 at the half, but Azle (1-1) used a 15-7 run in the third quarter to take the lead.
The Lady Hornets were led by Morgan Prentice with 11 points, one of seven players to score for Azle.
“Azle has some good size and quickness,” said Andrews.
