GHS competes at Grand Prairie
Kristian Samaniego led all Granbury High runners at the 16th Annual Ken Gaston Race at the Lake Invitational cross country meet in Grand Prairie recently.
Samaniego, the defending District 7-4A champion, clocked a time of 17:41 over the 3.1-mile course to finish in 32nd place.
The Lady Pirates were led by Alexandra Hammond, who posted a time of 22:45.16 for 52nd place.
“Nearly all kids improved their times,” said Granbury coach Amber Ward. “They have been working hard and it pays off.”
