Cheers to all the volunteers and sponsors who helped make the 1st Annual Lance McLean Golf Tournament a huge success. Over 144 golfers, raffle donations, car hole in ones, live and silent auctions … a great day for all who participated and helped.

Sunset Cove Ct. is full of pot holes and tearing up my car, something needs to be done. Maybe I should make someone pay for the repair of my vehicle.

Cheers to the Granbury Pirate football players and coaches for helping Habitat for Humanity rebuild Saturday morning after a sweet victory over South Hills.

Cheers to the Hood County News for the great, full-color coverage of Granbury ISD’s education highlights. What a great place to live and raise our kids! So proud of our great schools!

Cheers to the GHS Stowaways! You are classy, prepared and sharper than ever. You bring pride to our community every time you take the field. And we really wish the whole town could see how amazing you are at GHS pep rallies! This is banner year for the Stowaway tradition. Keep it up, girls!

Cheers to the Granbury Stowaways! Your hard work and dedication and new leadership under Ms. Craig is really paying off. The halftime shows and pep rallies that you perform together with the band are outstanding.

Love the new signs to the little league baseball parents at the city park! Great idea!

My gas tank ran empty. Based on some folk’s logic, it was caused by the drought.

Cheers to the lady in the Lexus that paid for my Starbucks Sept. 19. Sure made my day & I am still smiling. Very thoughtful … thank you!

Jeers to the staff and chaperones for the back to school bash at Acton Middle School for not keeping a closer eye on the children attending that night. I have a sixth grader that went and told me that there were very inappropriate things going on.
