To the person who stole my game camera you were in a bad place to be poaching on my place you never know where one of us is hunting and armed to the teeth. If I was you I would think twice before I go back on my property again!

Jeers to the people that complained about the “stupidness” of voting for Obama. Almost half of the population has no skin in the game – they don’t care about high taxes, promoting business, or creating jobs, nor do they care that the money for their free stuff is being borrowed from their children and from the Chinese. They just want the free stuff.

How about a cheer for our pee-wee Rattler football players and their coaches! With several months of hard work, all three teams made playoffs this year! A sign of more good things to come for Tolar football!

Cheers to America for re-electing President Obama. Contrary to what Republicans say, we are not stupid. We were actually smart enough not to fall for every crazy email, ridiculous conspiracy theory, downright lies, faked photos and Facebook post we saw. Republicans, you doomed yourselves with all the craziness. Try sticking to the issues next time.

Pet Peeve is Pet Poop. Jeers to those who walk their dogs along Bellechase, Briarfield, Melrose & let their dog poop & not pick it up! Go buy a roll of doggie bags for a DOLLAR, hook them to your leash. All you have to do is bend over, pick it up, tie it off and throw it away. Please, don’t give dog owners a bad name!

Jeers to the man who decided that he needed to weed eat the grass around his building at 6:30 on Thanksgiving morning. No one is giving you thanks today!

Wow the most awesome display of Christmas lights. Well worth your drive out to Sky Harbour subdivision. On Sun Ct. at the end of the cul-de-sac in the two story house. A job well done. Hope you have a wonderful holiday.

Jeers to those people who have garage/yard sales and then leave their signs or cardboard boxes on our street corners to become litter. Whatever happened to “Don’t Mess with Texas,” and what about issuing tickets for littering. The address on the perpetrator is right on the sign.

Jeers to these companies or persons that donate outdated food, freezer burnt meats, or rotten vegetables to local food banks. Someone is going to get seriously ill from this. Please check dates and your produce to make sure it is edible before donating it. People that receive this food need it to eat not throw away once they get it home.

I really appreciate those who volunteer their time to decorate the square, but the trees on corners are always so ugly. Last year we had a deer head and this year we have a CHAIR! I don’t mind a religious tree, but add some variety – angels, harps, churches, hearts? What about bulbs? Tinsel? Granbury is all about tradition and history. Let’s have traditional trees!

Many thanks to all those who responded to the fire on Walker Street in our neighborhood. From the volunteer firefighters from Tolar, Granbury and Hood County, to the Red Cross ladies, and the neighborhood children who collected donations for their friend’s family – this is Hood County at its best!

Big Cheer for Jerry Durant to donate land for these kids a college campus. They need it and will be greatly appreciated.

I am ashamed that I haven’t submitted this earlier but a great big thank you to all the GHS varsity footballs players who were at the team dinner at StoneWater Church on Sept. 13. You guys helped us unload tables & chairs for a wedding. Your physical strength is impressive but I was more impressed with your strength of character. Thank you.

Jeers to employees who quit and give no notice.

In response to being called stupid. If you, your candidate and the hateful conservative talk shows would have spent as much time relating to the American people instead of bashing President Obama, you might have had a better chance of winning.
