Warrior in parade’s wake

Kevin Browning, owner of War Pony Productions, strikes a fearsome warrior pose as Saturday’s Texas Independence Day parade around the Granbury square draws to an end. Heroes from the 1836 Battle of the Alamo were remembered in the celebration that took place Saturday and Sunday on the square, Langdon Center and Granbury Square Plaza. Vendors around the square included a beekeeper, goat milk soap and other “historic” type booths not commonly found at festivals on the square.
