Sudden stop

An investigator works at the scene in Spanish Trail where a car crashed into a permanent metal barrier after the driver fled from an officer at a nearby convenience store early Monday morning. The driver is facing multiple felony counts including two counts of aggravated assault on a public servant and evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.
