Andrew Barrus, executive director of Granbury Theatre Company, rolled up his sleeves with crew members Thursday evening at the recently renovated Granbury Opera House. They were busy constructing the set for the special New Year’s Eve performance of “Noises Off,” a zany farce written by award-winning playwright Michael Frayn about a dysfunctional company of actors preparing for the opening performance of the play-within-a-play “Nothing On.” Following the show, a New Year’s countdown party with food, drinks and dancing will take place. “Noises Off” runs through Jan. 25.
